Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) is a grassroots movement dedicated to transforming urban slums by providing essential services, community advocacy platforms, and education and leadership development for women and girls. Founded in 2009 by Kennedy Odede and Jessica Posner, SHOFCO aims to address urban poverty and gender inequality through innovative and sustainable solutions.
