We were honored to host a delegation from International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) to assess the progress of our Black Soldier Fly rearing project. During the visit, the team reviewed our project achievements, identified challenges, and provided practical solutions to support our work. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in strengthening our efforts and driving impactful outcomes of the project.
Founded in 1970, ICIPE focuses on sustainable development through the study and management of insects and other arthropods. Their mission is to alleviate poverty, ensure food security, and improve health in tropical regions by developing innovative solutions for pest control, disease management, and environmental conservation. ICIPE’s holistic approach integrates human, animal, plant, and environmental health, contributing to the overall well-being of communities in Africa and beyond.
